A few orders these past couple weeks via Moda Operandi, Sephora, Sonsie Skin and Le Labo I wanted to elaborate on. Two items were preorder so I won’t have them for sometime but somehow that acts as a prolonged dopamine hit I am not complaining about. Let’s dive in.

In no particular order…
St Agni has been a brand I’ve admired from afar for sometime now, so it feels nice to finally transition a few items into my wardrobe. Starting off strong the belt detail baguette bag in the brushed black leather, I love this! I am very plain Jane when it comes to bags so this belt detail and brushed leather are slightly out of the box but will bring something to my closet that all other options lack, some personality beyond just the silhouette. Next, is the column skirt. This could go two ways for me, either very put together and looks great with a kitten heel/flat OR could swallow me whole and make me look long/gangly. I’ll give a review when it comes in with photos in tow if it ends up working out.
Calling all fine hair ladies, this Oribe Maximista Thickening Spray won’t weigh your hair down and I even use it on damp hair on air dry days just on the scalp. It adds volume with no greasy residue left behind. It’s on the pricier side of hair care but I did a trial run with the mini size and loved it enough to repurchase the full size this time around.
I’ve gone back to my roots with the Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk lip liner. I try to have the ‘if it’s not broke, don’t fix it’ motto but for some reason I can’t seem to stick to one lip liner. It’s been a four year hiatus but we are back with a vengeance and this hasn’t left my lips.
I am a Jergens girl through and through when it comes to self tanner but if I want to bring out the big guns I use Lux Unfiltered four days prior to the outing or event. One day self tanner after shower then one day off. Day three I use again and have my perfect tan on day 4.
It feels like I will indefinitely be searching for a staple serum in my skincare routine but my hopes are high with the Sonsie Skin Serum.
For the Le Labo order, I went with Lys 41 for hopefully my new signature scent. There is nothing sexier and more put together to me than having a signature smell. It’s a quiet confidence that can become a mindless routine making getting ready everyday more seamless.
After writing this I think I may need a July shopping freeze.
See ya!
